How to get the Habitat Builder

Craft a Scanner, scan two Habitat Builder fragments at the Welcome Center (~80–90 m southeast of the Lifepod), then craft the tool for 2 Titanium, 1 Glass, 1 Basic Battery, and 1 Copper Wire.

Steps

  1. Craft Basic Battery (Resources): 2 Copper + 1 Acidic Raion Pouch; craft Copper Wire from Copper.
  2. Craft Scanner (Personal): 2 Titanium, 2 Quartz, 1 Basic Battery.
  3. Head southeast / south-southeast to the Welcome Center.
  4. Scan fragment 1 in the open crate by the Welcome Center sign.
  5. Clear metal blocking the floor hole, swim down, scan fragment 2 in the lower crate (blueprint unlocks at 2/2).
  6. Craft Habitat Builder at the Lifepod Fabricator.
