Where to find Necrolei Cyst (Strong Acid)

Find Stilt Orbs in the purple anemone/Jelly Lei field north-northwest of the Lifepod, cut their Necrolei Cysts with the Survival Multitool, and combine them into Strong Acid at the station your UI lists. Gold + Sulfur is an alternate recipe when shown.
Strong Acid’s station differs by build: check Fabricator and Processor before spending cysts.

Steps
- Craft / equip the Survival Multitool (required to cut cysts off Stilt Orbs).
- Scan the Processor at Old Habitat / Wu Blackbox room if you need it for ingots or if your build lists Strong Acid there. Before collecting materials, open both the Fabricator and Processor and note which one currently shows the Strong Acid recipe.
- From the Lifepod, head ~345° (just west of north) for ~250–400 m toward Old Habitat; look for large purple anemone / Jelly Lei fields.
- Find Stilt Orbs — green spherical jellies on pink tentacles with star-shaped cysts on top (~25–35 m).
- Cut Necrolei Cysts with the Multitool; gather at least two per Strong Acid bottle.
- At the station that your UI lists: load 2 Necrolei Cysts for 1 Strong Acid. If the recipe is not visible, do not guess a station or consume ingredients; check the other station and the current build. The alternate recipe is 1 Gold + 1 Sulfur when the UI exposes it.

Version differences and limitations
- Exact distance labels differ slightly (GameRant ~250 m / 345° vs IGN ~400 m NW) — both agree on Old Habitat / purple anemone Stilt Orb landmarks. The station assignment changed or was reported differently between July builds, so the in-game recipe list is the final check.
